It’s Guy Fawkes Night…and a chance to practice some photography skills!

Remember, remember the 5th of November. It’s one of my favourite celebrations of the year, the smell of the bonfire, the chill in the dark night’s air, the wonder and anticipation on the children’s faces….and the sounds of the crowds as the sky becomes illuminated with the magical fireworks.  It seems even more special to watch them explode over the North Sea.

So kitted out with my winter woolies, camera and tripod I headed off down to the harbour with my friend Julie to take in the spectacular show that lit up the sky for miles around.  It was a cracking wee night and I captured a couple of nice little shots….well I think so :)
