It’s been a little while since I added an iphonegraphy post so here’s a little personal one to add to the collection. Yesterday Laura and I set off for Aberfeldy in celebration of her birthday. We started out with her introducing me to the rather fantastic Windmill which is a gallery, independent book shop, gift store and cafe…pretty much our idea of heaven really! We whiled away a good amount of time chatting over brunch and some Suki tea before meandering amongst the book shelves and getting inspired by a whole array of great reading material. Next upstairs to the gallery and finally a wander around the gorgeous gift shop. It really is a great place to spend some time. With the weather forecasting snow all over we headed for the Birks of Aberfeldy made famous by our very own Bard – Rabbie Burns. It’s not a strenuous walk but it does have some pretty spectacular scenery and waterfalls. We ambled through a silver birch forest and climbed many a sodden slippery step but the rushing waterfalls and enormous icicles hanging precariously around the falls were pretty impressive to see.
We often talk about the great things that we do and this is another one to add to the ever growing list. So here’s a few shots from yesterday with the birthday girl taking centre stage (ok centre forest!) in tree pose. As before all images are shot on the iphone.
Happy Birthday Laura! Here’s to many more celebrations and thanks for a great day, Jacqui x
